Nippon Steel lifts April stainless sections prices
Nippon Steel, Japan’s largest steelmaker, has decided to lift its domestic stainless steel sections prices by 15% from April, to compensate for price increases in raw materials, in particular nickel, Kallanish notes.
The latest price increase applies to domestic sales of 300 series angles, channels, and flat bars, as well as H-beams and C-shaped hot-rolled bars. A previous, similar increase was made by the company last October.
