Nippon Steel launches two plans for carbon neutrality
Nippon Steel on Wednesday announced two plans for its Carbon Neutral Vision 2050. These are further capacity expansion for non-oriented electrical steel sheets and the start of studies to shift from the BF-BoF steelmaking process to the electric arc furnace steelmaking, Kallanish notes.
