Nippon reports profit decline
Japanese steelmaker Nippon Steel’s crude steel production and sales rose on both moth-on-month and year-on-year in the September quarter, the second quarter of its fiscal year 2023. Its revenue hiked as a result, but profits shrank, Kallanish notes.
