Nippon halts another blast furnace
Japan’s Nippon Steel has decided to bank a third blast furnace in response to weak demand amidst the coronavirus outbreak. It had decided only two weeks earlier to bank another two blast furnaces and another had been banked in February, Kallanish notes.
