Nippon commences tender offer for NST shares
Japan’s Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) plans to officially commence the tender offer for shares of Nippon Steel Trading (NST) on 13 March, Kallanish learns from the company’s release on Friday.
NSC announced the plan in December last year and aimed to complete it by around late February this year. However, not all of the necessary procedures and actions under domestic and overseas competition laws had been completed as of then.
