Nippon, Aichi Steel raise stainless section steel prices
Japan’s Nippon Steel Corporation and Aichi Steel have decided to raise prices of their stainless steel section products from May and April respectively, due to higher production costs, Kalanish notes.
Nippon Steel has raised domestic prices of stainless steel by 20%, which will be applied to all 300 series section products from May, including bars and H-beams.
