Nippon acquires Thailand’s Siam Tinplate Company
Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel announced on 24 December the acquisition of Siam Tinplate Co. (STP) in Thailand, Kallanish notes.
According to public information, Sumitomo Corporation, Metal One Corporation, Nippon Steel Corporation, Nippon Steel Trading Corporation, Tomiyasu & Co, and Thai shareholders currently jointly own STP.
