New Zealand Steel sues government over duties
Hearings have begun in a New Zealand court of a case in which New Zealand Steel is suing the government for failing to impose countervailing duties on imports of Chinese steel. The company is a subsidiary of Australia’s BlueScope. The government decided in July not to impose countervailing duties on imports of Chinese HDG, Kallanish notes.
