New pellet JV to feed RINL's BFs
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) and Kudremukh Iron Ore Company (KIOCL)’s joint venture iron ore pelletising plant adjacent to RINL’s Visakhapatnam (Vizag) steelworks will have a 1.2 million tonnes/year capacity.
The two state-owned firms signed last week a memorandum of understanding to set up the JV plant (see Kallanish 8 January).
