NCLAT orders Essar resolution by 8 March
India’s National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has ordered the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench to pass a final order on Essar Steel’s insolvency resolution by 8 March.
NCLAT had expected NCLT to pass the final order under Section 31 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy (I&B) Code, 2016 shortly after a hearing on 12 February with one of Essar’s operational creditors. However, this did not materialise.
