Nangang to overhaul blast furnace over March-June
China’s Nanjing Iron & Steel (Nangang) plans to overhaul its No.2 2,550 cubic-metre blast furnace between March and June, according to the Jiangsu Industry and Information Technology Department.
The four-month maintenance is expected to reduce the company’s iron production by up to 713,333 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
