Most Turkish mills keep domestic scrap prices stable
Turkish steelmakers have continued buying scrap from the domestic market this week at mostly unchanged prices. A few mills have however decreased their buying prices, while only prices in the Aegean region have increased.
Turkish mills’ imported scrap demand has accelerated since last week, when scrap prices rebounded. This week, however, supply has exceeded demand, with many offers appearing in the market, and prices have thus shown signs of softening again…
