Chinese steel companies increase rebar ex-works prices
Several major Chinese steelmakers have published CNY 50-190/t ($7.24-27.51/t) increases to their early May ex-works longs prices. Both long and flat steel markets have been stronger since the long weekend but longs are being better supported by falling inventory levels, Kallanish notes.
