More Chinese steelmakers halt flats' output in October

Maintenance at Chinese steel mills has continued to increase this month with some mills still reducing the production of hot rolled products. Baotou Iron & Steel, Nanjing Iron & Steel and Tangyin Iron & Steel all announced that they will be overhauling hot rolling lines, Kallanish notes.
