Mobarakeh Steel production rises in January-April
Mobarakeh Steel (MSC) increased crude steel production 12% on-year to over 2 million tonnes in January-April, Kallanish learns from Iran’s largest steelmaker.
This was driven by a 29% growth at subsidiary Saba Steel of thin-gauge hot strip output to 230,821t. Subsidiary Hormozgan Steel also registered 29% output growth in the four months to 486,939t of slab.
