Mobarakeh Steel produces first bloom
Mobarakeh Steel (MSC) has produced its first bloom after modifying its slab caster mould to cast 200x300mm blooms, Kallanish learns from Iran’s largest steelmaker. The firm is preparing to produce other dimensions of bloom and billet.
“Survival and profitability in the current market conditions require moving towards diversified and high value-added products, and increasing productivity,” MSC says in statement.
