MMK's third-quarter sales, output mostly decline
Russian steelmaker MMK reduced output of all products insignificantly in the third quarter, but year-to-date production volume increased, except for long products.
The increase was driven by favourable market conditions, the start-up of the Turkish subsidiary’s hot-end and the absence of blast furnace and converter overhauls this year, the company says.
