MMK grows Russia sales
Russian steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel (MMK) increased its domestic sales in 2019. MMK and MMK-Lysvensky Metallurgical Plant sold 8.3 million tonnes/year of steel last year, up 8% on 2018, Kallanish notes.
Hot rolled flat products accounted for 48% of supply. The proportion of long products was 17%. A significant share was occupied by cold rolled steel (11%), galvanized steel (14%) and polymer-coated steel (5%).
