MHMM to buy Siemens out of Primetals
Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery (MHMM) has agreed to buy Siemens out of their Primetals Technologies joint venture. The transaction is expected to close in early 2020 after which MHMM will become sole owner of the technology maker.
Primetals was created in 2015 from the merger of MHMM and the former Siemens VAI Metals Technologies.
