MIPPL to invest $240 million for expansion
Maruti Ispat and Pipes (MIPPL) plans to invest INR 20 billion ($239.69 million) as part of its capacity expansion plans.
It has launched a new electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipe brand named MS Vayu, and will add 600,000 tonnes/year of additional capacity over the next five years, Kallanish notes.
The company will locate this capacity at its 300-acre steel plant in Mantralayam, Kurnool, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
