Mining union tables wage demands for Kumba Iron
South Africa’s National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) says that it has issued its wage demands for 2017 to Anglo American’s Kumba Iron Ore.
In a statement monitored by Kallanish, the union is asking for a comprehensive new 12-point remuneration and conditions package extending well beyond a simple wage increase.
