Mineração Usiminas sees production fall in 2022
Mineração Usiminas (Musa), the mining arm of Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas), saw production reduce in the fourth quarter of 2022, Kallanish notes.
Musa’s Q4 iron ore output reached 2.31 million tonnes, down 8% on-quarter and also 143,000 tonnes less y-o-y. Full-year production totalled 8,904,000t, a fall of 3% over 2021.
