Minera Shouxin Perú inaugurates tailings plant
Minera Shouxin Perú (MSP) has officially inaugurated its tailings concentrator plant, Kallanish learns from a statement issued by Peru’s mines and energy ministry.
MSP began producing in July iron ore from Shougang’s Hierro Peru’s (SHP) mining tailings in Marcona, in the region of Ica, with an initial output of 24,345 tonnes, as reported. The miner plans for its annual iron ore output to reach 350,000t in 2018.
