Minera Shouxin Perú expands Marcona plant processing capacity
The Peruvian Environment Ministry has approved a request by Minera Shouxin Perú (MSP) to increase its processing capacity of mining tailings, Kallanish learns from a note by the country`s national environmental certification service, Senace.
MSP began producing iron ore from Shougang’s Hierro Peru’s (SHP) mining tailings in Marcona, in the region of Ica, in July 2017. The company also produces copper and zinc.
