Middle East output grows in March after seven-month decline
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly report rose 4% on-year in March to 2.32 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from worldsteel. This brought to an end seven consecutive months of decline. Although Saudi output slumped yet again, Iranian production increased significantly.
