Middle East steel output decreases sequentially in February

Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar each saw a decrease versus January but an increase on-year in their crude steel production in February. Two-month regional output, driven by Iran, surged 17.1% on-year to 7.39 million tonnes versus 6.31mt recorded a year earlier, Kallanish notes.
