Middle East crude steel production falls in April
Crude steel production in April in the Middle East, comprising ten countries, fell 5% on March and 8.2% on-year to 4.58 million tonnes, coinciding with the long Eid holidays.
Production for the first four months of 2024 increased by 6.2% compared to the previous year, reaching 18.27mt, with the first quarter driving growth.
