Mexican steelmaking raw materials output lowers in January
Mexican iron ore output fell year-on-year in January, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 793,145 tonnes of iron ore during the first month of 2020, down -11.3% y-o-y and -4.3% less compared to the volume of 828,850t in December 2019.
The state of Coahuila de Zaragoza saw the highest production with an output of 338,198t in January. …
