Mexico’s steelmaking raw materials output slows in April
Mexican iron ore output fell month-on-month in April, as did pellet and first-grade coke output, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 749,258 tonnes of iron ore during April, down by 9.5% on-month and 2.3% lower year-on-year. January-April output reached 3.22 million tonnes, down 426,936t over the same period in 2020.
