Mexico’s September car output, sales drop; exports up
The Mexican automotive sector saw production and domestic sales fall month-on-month in September. Exports, however, remained higher compared to the same period in 2021, Kallanish notes.
According to Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), September output decreased by 13.7% on-month to 273,329 units but was 31.3% more year-on-year.
