Mexico’s rebar, wire rod production grows in October
Mexico saw rebar output increase both month-on-month and year-on-year in October 2023, Kallanish notes. Wire rod production was also higher compared with September 2023, after falling in four consecutive months.
According to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía's (Inegi) preliminary report, Mexico produced 187,858 tonnes of rebar in October, up 1.2% from September’s 185,651t and 35,534t more year-on-year.…
