Mexico’s rebar, wire rod production decreases in April
Mexico saw both rebar and wire rod output decrease both month-on-month and on-year in April, Kallanish notes.
According to the local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), Mexico produced 109,322 tonnes of rebar in April, down 28.4% over March and 34,452t less year-on-year.
