Mexico’s October merchant bar production rises on-month
Mexico saw merchant bar output increase on-month in October, but it was weaker on-year, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
The country produced 18,081 tonnes of bar during the month, up 5% over September but 4,618t less on-year.
