Mexico’s October billet production grows
Mexican billet output increased sequentially in October. Output was also higher compared with a year earlier, Kallanish notes.
According to local statistics provider Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) preliminary data, Mexico produced 160,599 tonnes of billet during October. This was a growth of 10.7% from September’s 145,057t and 16,969t more compared with the same month last year.
