Mexico’s monthly billet production plunges to 5-year low
Mexican billet output decreased sequentially in March and was also weaker compared with a year earlier, Kallanish notes.
According to local statistics provider Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) preliminary data, Mexico produced 54,683 tonnes of billet during March.
