Mexico’s January billet production slips

Mexican billet output decreased month-on-month in January, although only slightly. Output also remained weaker compared to a year earlier, Kallanish notes. According to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data, Mexico produced 275,846 tonnes of billet during the month.
