Mexico's iron ore production increases, pellet/coke remain weak
Mexican iron ore output slightly moved up year-on-year in February. Meanwhile, pellet and first-grade coke output decreased, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 709,913 tonnes of iron ore during February, up by 0.3% y-o-y but 2.8% lower compared to January. Cumulative output reached 1.44 million tonnes, or 91,513t less than in January-February …
