Mexico's flats production declines sequentially in November
Mexican flat steel production decreased month-on-month in November, Kallanish notes.
According to data from local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), Mexico produced 316,898 tonnes of hot rolled coil in November, down 36,838t from October but higher by 12.2% year-on-year. Eleven-month production was 3.6 million tonnes, up 25.4% compared with 2.87mt in January-November 2022.
