Mexico’s billet production weakens in September
Mexican billet output decreased both month-on-month and year-on-year in September, Kallanish notes.
According to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data, Mexico produced 267,072 tonnes of billet during the month. This was a fall of 3.5% over August and 52,605t less compared to the same period last year.
