Mexico’s billet production drops in November
Mexican billet output decreased month-on-month in November, Kallanish notes. Output also remained weaker compared to a year earlier.
According to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data, Mexico produced 272,191 tonnes of billet during the month. This was a fall of 2.2% over October and 42,016t less compared to the same period last year.
