Mexico’s automotive sector underperforms in July
Mexican car output and exports fell month-on-month in July, Kallanish notes. The country also saw domestic sales decrease compared to June, according to the Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia).
Automotive production continued to be affected by the lack of semiconductors on a global scale, a situation that is expected to improve in the second half of the year.
