Mexico’s automotive production rises in November
The Mexican automotive industry continues to improve its production volumes as it advances towards the end of 2020. Output rose on-year in November but remained weak in the first 11 months of the year, mainly impacted by the Covid-19 crisis, Kallanish notes.
According to the Asociación Mexicana de la Industria Automotriz (Amia), the sector produced 312,184 vehicles in November. This was down by -10.2% over September but 1.4% higher on-year.
