Mexico’s automotive production recovers sequentially in January
Mexican automotive sector performance began 2022 with an on-month recovery. However, both vehicle production and exports fell on-year in January, Kallanish learns from a report issued by Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia).
January output increased by 19.3% m-o-m to 253,266 units, down 9% compared to the same period in 2021.
