Mexico’s automotive industry continues post-lockdown rebound
Mexican automotive production decreased on-year in September but continued to improve on-month post Covid-19 crisis, Kallanish notes.
According to the Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), the sector produced 301,426 vehicles in September. This volume was up 2.7% over August, but almost -5.5% or 17,480 units less y-o-y.
