Mexico’s automotive industry performance improves in August
The Mexican automotive sector saw its performance rise month-on-month in August. Production, export and domestic sales also remained higher compared to the same period in 2021, Kallanish notes.
According to Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), August output increased by 21.8% on-month to 316,815 units and was 31.3% more year-on-year.
