Mexico’s automotive activity slips in July
The Mexican automotive sector saw its performance fall month-on-month in July. However, production, export and domestic sales remained higher compared to the same period in 2021, Kallanish notes.
According to Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), July output decreased by 8.9% on-month to 259,994 units but was 10.5% more year-on-year.
