Mexico’s August structural steel production rises, bar weakens
Mexican high-strength structural steel production increased month-on-month in August but was down year-on-year. Merchant bar output fell in the period, according to data from local statistics provider Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) monitored by Kallanish.
