Mexico’s August ore, pellet output rise, coke falls

Mexico saw iron ore output decrease month-on-month in August, as did pellet and first-grade coke production, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish. The country produced 709,618 tonnes of iron ore during August, up 10.5% compared to July but just 0.6% less year-on-year.
