Mexico’s monthly rebar production stable, wire rod falls
Mexican rebar production was little-changed in April, while rod decreased sequentially. Both were significantly higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía's (Inegi) preliminary report, Mexico produced 278,171 tonnes of rebar in April, approximately equal month-on-month and 144,529t more on-year.
