Mexico reviews countervailing duties on wire imports
Mexico has initiated a review to potentially extend for another five years a compensatory quota on imports of reinforcing steel wire imports originating in China, Spain and Portugal, Kallanish learns from the Mexican economy ministry (SE).
The country’s Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) announced on 25 February that Mexican companies Deacero and Aceros Camesa complained that the removal of duties would negatively impact domestic production.
